This is an excellent workout watch at a decent price too! Once I figured out how to activate the Flix feature by pressing down the light button for a couple of seconds until I heard the beep, I also realised that the Flix feature could be deactivated with the same actions too. Strengths: Durable, comfortable, hands free light capability, easy to set in every mode, easy to replace bands and battery
Weakness: The two buttons on the front, though very functional, have a tendency to get pushed inadvertently changing from T-1 to T-2 when you don't want it to.
I have owned and worn my Triathlon Flix for 8 years. I have put it thru all of the paces from rock climbing, scuba diving, hunting, fishing and so on. I am in the US Army and have worn this watch in temperatures from -30 to 150 (Iraq) without problem. While loading cargo in an aircraft in Iraq the two front buttons were torn off the watch fixing the problem I described in the "weaknesses"...
